Long time friends Krista Behi and Akia Ginneh Pacheco launched Titi Collection, a beautiful line of contemporary nursing wear, in 2008.  Brought together through their mutual religious beliefs, these inspiring entrepreneurial women spread positivity throughout every aspect of their business.

The idea for Titi Collection was born shortly after Krista's first child.  Frustrated with the lack of viable options for a mother to find both function and fashion in nursing wear, Krista's mission was clear.  She approached Akia with an idea to create a line of clothing that would truly bring a sense of relief to nursing mothers. Their signature pieces are made from stretch silk and a built in Italian lace bra in two flattering silhouettes.  The Hoodie and The Blouse have intricate aesthetic details and smart features for convenient breastfeeding.  They recently launched the Fresh Essentials Collection to expand the brand's versatility.  The Lily, Tulip and Jasmine tops are made from stretch jersey and the signature lace bra and offer unsurpassed comfort, convenience and style.

These tops as a product alone have literally brought women to tears, thanking the designers for creating something that so many women have searched for.  But digging deeper into the background of Titi, shows even more reason to love everything about them.

Krista and Akia create all of their pieces using salvaged fabrics.  There are numerous benefits to using salvaged materials, even over eco-friendly fabrics.  The use of salvaged fabrics not only diverts waste from landfills, it also eliminates any additional emission of pollution or harmful chemicals associated with the production of new materials.  Titi garments are hand-made by a local seamstress to support cottage industry, both to sustain small business and curb the use of large amounts of energy associated with factory production.

The collection currently focuses on motherhood, though they plan to expand into an entire lifestyle brand that is committed to "the nurturing and support of women in a fabulously beautiful way!"
